In the smallest village of the Kaiserwinkl, the hiking path starts directly in the village center of Rettenschöss, at the public parking lot. Following the signs, the path leads to the Antonius Chapel next to the municipal office and the school. From here, passing the playground, the path leads through the idyllic forest to the district of Pötting, directly at the Staudinger Bach, the outflow of the moor area "Schwemm". A nice detail is the farm "Thalbauern", which is already mentioned in the 11th century. With a view of the "Zahmen Kaiser", the trail continues via the districts of Leitacker and Osenthal past the chapel back to the starting point.
