Getting here from Germany is easy – either take the A93 and exit before the Kufstein border (you don't need an Austrian motorway vignette), or take the romantic road from Lake Chiemsee and cross the Klobenstein smugglers' gorge, where the road takes you through a small tunnel and winds along the impressive cliffs before the valley opens up. And just like that you have arrived in another world, in your holiday region, the Kaiserwinkl.
