Summer toboggan run & amusement park

Sledging in summer? It's easy! With summer tobogganing, you can whizz down the slope at breakneck speed and don't even have to worry about cold fingers and wet feet. The Zahmer Kaiser mountain railway in Walchsee/Durchholzen offers adventure, fun and excitement for the whole family with its summer toboggan run.

After the ascent on the 4-seater chairlift, you can change to the summer toboggan run at the middle station and glide back down into the valley. Over green slopes and colourful meadows, the two runs wind their way along the 1 km route. A subway, a 90 metre long, double-decker bridge and ten elevated steep bends make this varied ride a very special experience.

Handling the toboggan is child's play: children aged 8 and over can ride on their own. For the younger ones (3 - 8 years) there are two-seaters that can be used together with mum and dad. And at the end of the ride, the ponies are waiting for your visit in their pasture down at the valley station!

But the Zahmer Kaiser mountain railway has even more to offer! At the top of the mountain station, the Zahmer Kaiser forest play park invites its young visitors on an adventurous journey of discovery. Between the play tower, slides, swings and construction site with crane and excavator, your children are sure to find enough variety to keep them entertained during a break in the shady Gruber forest.

Afterwards, you will certainly have enough motivation to set off on the mountain forest circular hike (2.3 km / 50 min.), for example, or set off on one of the many other activities in Kaiserwinkl. And maybe on the way back down to the valley you can do a second round on the summer toboggan run?
