Triathlon in the heart of the alps 28.06.2020
Sideevents 25.06. 27.06. & 28.06.2020
Challenge Women, Challenge Aquathlon, Challenge Junior & Aquabike
A dreamlike backdrop, a demanding course, thousands of enthusiastic spectators along the route, top stars from all over the world, – these are only some of the attributes that can be used to say what the event of the Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee is about.
The additional side events such as Challenge Aquathlon, Challenge Aquabike, Challenge Women and Junior Challenge, which ran from Friday to Sunday rounded off the family-friendly challenge weekend. Many of the athletes also used this event as an extension of their vacation, so the days before and after that there were still a lot of athletes and their families in the Kaiserwinkl.
ETU European Championship 2020
We are particularly pleased that the Kaiserwinkl has been selected for the second time as the venue for the ETU European Championship over the middle distance. On June 28, 2020, the Kaiserwinkl is in the focus of the triathletes, it is expected to over 2000 athletes from across Europe. We see the renewed commitment (in 2016 the EM was held for the first time in the Kaiserwinkl) in recognition of the entire organization team of the Challenge family as well as appreciation for the entire population of the region Kaiserwinkl, which stands behind this impressive event. Due to the large international media presence at the European Championship, the Kaiserwinkl region can be carried out into the world with beautiful pictures of landscape and sport
We ask all Challenge participants, during the training preparations in the Kaiserwinkl, to take account of the STVO. We especially ask the cyclists during the crossings, or when driving through unclear areas to reduce the pace to prevent injury and accidents.
