Rules and regulations for the Walchsee lakeside promenade
The ARGE See la Vie (Walchsee Local Council and the Kaiserwinkl Tourist Board) provides this recreational area on the eastern shore of Lake Walchsee. As the lake and the lakeside land are privately owned, we ask that you treat all facilities with care and keep both the lake and the lakeside areas clean.
What should you bear in mind?
- Please take care of the water and the recreational area, and do not leave any rubbish behind.
- Please do not use any cleaning or care products when bathing.
- Please do not pick flowers, plants or branches on land or in the water.
- Fishing is prohibited without a licence.
- Parking caravans and camping are not permitted.
- Do not light open fires.
- Please park only in the areas provided and marked for this purpose.
- Please make sure you do not enter the spawning grounds or the reed beds.
- Please do not let your dog run around or swim off the lead.
- Please be mindful of the noise you make and do not disturb others.
- Private stand-up paddleboards and boats are subject to a fee. However, private motorboats are not permitted on the lake.
- A maintenance fee must be paid for swimming.
- We accept no liability for any accidents that may occur whilst using the recreational area.
Please help ensure that all visitors observe the points mentioned above and support the security staff in this regard. Any breaches will be reported to the authorities.
