The ARGE Ostufer (municipalities of Kössen, Walchsee and the Kaiserwinkl tourism association) provides
this recreational area on the eastern shore of Lake Walchsee. As the lake and the shore
are privately owned, we ask that you treat all facilities with care
and to keep both the lake and the shore areas clean.

What to consider?

  • Please take care of the water and the recreational area and do not leave any rubbish behind.
  • Please do not use any cleaning or care products when swimming.
  • Please do not tear down or cut flowers, plants or branches on land or in the water.
  • Fishing is prohibited without authorisation.
  • The parking of caravans and camping are not permitted.
  • Do not build open fires.
  • Please only park in designated areas provided for this purpose.
  • Please avoid entering the spawning sanctuaries or reed beds at all costs.
  • Please do not let your dog run around or swim without a lead.
  • Please keep your volume down and do not disturb others with noise.
  • Private SUPs and boats are subject to a fee. No private motors are permitted.
  • A maintenance fee must be paid for swimming.
  • No liability is accepted for any accidents that may occur while using the recreational area.

Please help to ensure that all visitors observe the above points and support the supervisory staff. Infringements will be reported to the police.
