Kaiserwinkl New Year's greeting
The turn of the year is just around the corner and all locals and guests are invited to the New Year's greeting in Kössen. Together with the Kössen skiing school, the mountain rescue,the traditional costume association, the marching band and the town community of Kössen, the year is traditionally ended with the greeting of the new year. The event is framed by a large fireworks display, mulled wine, chestnuts and musical accompaniment.
Program
- 4:50 p.m.: Arrival of the free shuttle buses at the Hochkössen valley station
- Torchlight procession by the ski instructors of the Kössen Ski School
- 5:30 p.m.: Free bus transfer to the Kössen village square
- 5:45 p.m.: Ceremonial procession featuring the Kössen Brass Band, the Landsturm 1809 Traditional Costume Association, and the Kössen Ski School
- 6:45 p.m.: Grand fireworks display
- 7:30 p.m.: Return trip on the free shuttle buses
