Kaiserwinkl New Year’s Eve
Greeting in Kössen
The turn of the year is just around the corner and all locals and guests are invited to the New Year's Eve in Kössen.Together with the ski school Kössen, mountain rescue, costume club, band and the community Kössen the year ends with the greeting traditionally. A big fireworks, mulled wine, chestnuts and musical accompaniment frame the event.
16:50 h arrival of free transfer from the centre of Kössen and all Kaiserwinkl villages to the valley station of the Hochkössen ski area. There the ski instructors of the Kössen ski school will show what they can do in a torch relay, and mountain rescuers will burn the new year number in the snow. Finally, all the spectators will be brought back to the centre of the resort.
At 17:45 the associations, the Landsturm 1809 traditional costume association with their guns, the Kössen band, the ski instructors of Kössen ski school and little chimney sweeps will march into the centre of the village and share their good wishes for the new year. Just like every year, there will be free mulled wine, punch and chestnuts.
Live Music with the "69 in the shade"
After the ceremonial addresses a big firework display will round off the event around 18:45.
