Schwendt: Dreamy and idyllic a village - Kaiser Mointains salute you Snowy Kaiser Mountian Rage from Schwendt in Kitzbühel District
Schwendt is quiet. Only the connecting road to St. Johann and Kitzbühel bears some traffic - likewise the cross country ski tracks that lead to the neighbouring villages. The toboggan run above the village centre empties late afternoon, when everyone strolls inside to warm themselves up at the fire place with hot tea or Glühwein.
The big loop of cross-country ski trails to Kössen and Walchsee passes by the outskirts of the village, the Hochkössen/Unterberg lifts are 5 km away. Those who want to enjoy a piece of Kaiser winter with feeling for nature will feel right at home in quiet Schwendt.
